The ‘Ready-Made’ collection

‘The fusion of mechanics and jewellery’

The Ready-Made collection was designed to be worn every day, while retaining a precious quality thanks to the gemstones and the sparkle of the polish. The term Ready-Made was borrowed from the artist Marcel Duchamp, who repurposed existing utilitarian objects by modifying them very slightly, thus giving them the status of works of art. Here, the anodised aluminium rings used for these pieces of jewellery were originally coloured washers with holes in them, designed for use in racing motorcycles. The designer polishes the edges of each ring, creating a contrast with the shiny silver mesh that is the brand’s signature, and adds six brightly coloured gemstones to enhance the chromatic contrast of the jewellery.
